What happened? edit

What happened to this prize? The official web page is 404. —Preceding unsigned comment added by AndersFeder (talkcontribs)

The article contains the text "As of 2006, some 40 companies had expressed interest in the prize, but either didn't have the money which would apparently be needed" and a reference which has a certain number of details about what happened. In short, the prize seems to be dead, although I'm not sure whether to completely rewrite the article in the past tense until the deadline runs out.
