I see that the Encyclopedia mythica has been cited as a source. Several Scandinavians, User:Haukurth, User:Salleman, User:Io and myself have identified bogus information taken from that site on Norse mythology, and removed it from Wikipedia.--Wiglaf 19:13, 2 August 2005 (UTC)Reply
Lurbira is the standard Basque word for "earth surface". Apart from that I don't know about mythological meanings. I don't even know that an Iberian mythology is known.
Ama Lurra ("Mother Earth") may have some mythological meaning, but it may be modern. --Error 23:05, 2 August 2005 (UTC)Reply
I fully agree with Error. Notice that this bogus has also been inserted in Mari (Basque) article, even though the alleged source says nothing about it. Both articles should be plainly removed. --Sugaar 19:51, 5 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

The encyclopedia then cites José María Barandiarán. I would rather a citation from Barandiarán himself. But if we can attribute to Barandiarán, it's enough for me. Note that there is no mention of Iberians. --Error 03:01, 10 December 2005 (UTC)Reply
