Little known fact

I have removed the following statement from the article, as it provides no reliable sources for verification:

Its a little known fact that George Best's son Craig Burkinshaw (nee Best) lives in Lower Altofts, he can be found most weekends on the pavement outside the Miners Arms

This appears to be a variant of a statement I removed earlier:

Its a little known fact that a relative of the late great George Best lives in Lower Altofts. His name is Craig Burkinshaw and George is his great uncle.

These statements are both contradictory and unsourced. Also, I am not sure if it is in any way relevant to the article. If we note the location of every relative of a famous person (if that relative isn't notable in their own right) then every location article will be filled with trivia of little use or interest to readers. Another removed statement

I have now also removed another statement from the article:

In more recent times, the village was the birthplace of James "Elve" Edginton, who is renowned for his brilliant work in the field of bird watching.

I can't find any sources for a James Edginton being involved in bird watching. Unless someone can provide a reliable source about this individual, then this should be kept out of the article. Road Wizard 07:38, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

Reece Dinsdale

His wiki article says he was born in Normanton, but I've always heard he at least lived in Altofts, his mother still lives there now I believe. Could any sources be found for this?
