Rename The Article edit

Since the star is given the name Al-Nair, why not rename the article Al-Nair instead of using it's Bayer Designation? Other articles for stars such as Arcturus (Alpha Boötis) and Betelgeuse (Alpha Orionis) also uses their given names instead of Bayer Designations. --Pavithran (talk) 14:54, 19 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

WP:COMMONNAME. My mother could tell you that Betelgeuse and Arcturus are stars, but nobody outside of the IAU star naming committee has ever heard of Al-Nair. Lithopsian (talk) 19:32, 19 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
