Drawing edit

I know Alistair personally and he really isnt as ugly as this. I mean, come on people, puh-leeze. He is actually pretty good-looking. This drawing is a disgrace. 217.38.158.196 (talk) 19:56, 29 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

I must admit I also have some reservations. This image at Flickr seems to be free to use, although it does also have a second person (the photographer), so would need to be cropped. Martinevans123 (talk) 10:04, 5 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
That Flickr image is tagged as "Attribution-NonCommercial 2.0 Generic (CC BY-NC 2.0)", so it can't be used at Commons. I am very unsure that the existing image enhances this article. I think it might be better off without it. Martinevans123 (talk) 13:01, 16 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Escape to the Country edit

This article says "Since 2007, he has been the presenter of Escape to the Country on BBC Two". Since there are a variety of people who present this programme, it would be better to describe him as "one of the presenters". Also, Escape to the Country does not air on BBC Two, but on BBC One.   Done. Martinevans123 (talk) 19:24, 6 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

I hope no one minds, but I have changed BBC Two to BBC One, as "Escape to the Country" goes out on BBC One on Sunday afternoons. Vorbee (talk) 08:59, 7 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

The programme article suggests that, since it started, it has been shown on both channels, in a variety of formats? Maybe we should just put "BBC" and allow the reader to find more detail at Escape to the Country? Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 12:25, 7 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

I have seen now that "Escape to the Country" is broadcast on BBC Two as well as BBC television, so I have changed the text now to read "BBC television". Vorbee (talk) 18:12, 18 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
