Finisher!! edit

Alicia's finisher is a Scissors Kick!! I think the name of the finisher is Fox trot. CrazySexyCool14 (talk) 01:54, 18 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

It's already siad in the article that her finishing move is a Scissors Kick. A reliable source needs to be provided for the move name. See WP:PW/SG#Sources for a listing of reliable wrestling related sources. Thanks, ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 20:13, 23 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

GA review (see here for criteria)

Generally good, just a few fixable things. Staxringold talkcontribs 18:12, 28 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose):   b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
    Some bits of prose tweaking:
  • In the lead should that comma be there in "She is signed to WWE, where she performs on the Raw brand"?
  • By the way, you're consistent (so it's fine), but is it Raw or RAW?
    • It's stylised as 'RAW', but some MOS thing requires it be written as 'Raw'. NiciVampireHeart 04:43, 30 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
  • Also in the lead, could you add "On October 20 that year"?
  • Biggest prose issue, IMO, is starting sentences with prepositions. Lots of "In 2006," "At the OVW television tapings," "In April 2007," "In December," "In June 2008," "During their wedding reception," "After a three month hiatus," "In late December 2008," "On April 15," and so on and so forth. Here's a good list of 'em
  1. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
    • I've reworded a few. I must confess though, I've never heard of that being a problem before. I know prepositions at the end of a sentence is horrific grammar, but not at the start, surely? NiciVampireHeart 04:43, 30 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
  1. a (references):   b (citations to reliable sources):   c (OR):
Just one small question, is "Wrestling Observer/Figure Four Online" an established RS? I'm just not super familiar with wrestling sources.
Yes it is. It's run by Dave Meltzer, one of the most well-known/renowned wrestling journalists in the world, and was deemed reliable in an FA review (I think). Listed as reliable at WP:PW/SG#Sources. NiciVampireHeart 04:43, 30 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
  1. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects):   b (focused):
Is there any way to flesh out her personal life/pre-wrestling life at all? That personal life section just looks really thin as it is. Where was she born? Anything more about her time as a model? Just a couple more sentences to flesh out her bio a bit would be great.
I scraped the bottom of the barrel as it is. The problem is, she never does interviews. Ever. I haven't found a single one. I also wasn't able to find out anything about her modelling career - she doesn't seem to have been very successful in modelling. I'll do another search, but I wouldn't hold out much hope. NiciVampireHeart 04:43, 30 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
  • I trust your searches. Obviously add anything you can find, but if that's what there is that's what there is. If you happen to know her home-town I could Lexis search any nearby papers, see if she did a "Famous local" kinda story. Staxringold talkcontribs 05:28, 30 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
As best I can tell, she's from Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. She's billed from there by WWE, and I can't find anything to say that it's kayfabe. NiciVampireHeart 14:24, 30 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
  1. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  2. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  3. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales):   b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
Could you fix the info on the lead image, Victoria Crawford copy.gif? Currently it claims the source just as "Photobucket from fan picture", but the original appears to be gone. Really has no source info currently. Other images are great! (always fun to do a diva image review. O_O )
Hmmm. I've left a message for the original uploader, to try and get the actual source. The uploader hasn't been active since August 2008, however. Would it be best to just remove the image d'you think? NiciVampireHeart 04:43, 30 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
  1. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
Well on the way, just a couple things. Side question, have you (or WP:WWE) ever thought about fleshing out a proper article on "Developmental territories"? The whole nature of WWE, unifying all these mini-realms, and then using them in this way, seems like it'd make for an interesting read.
I stick mainly to bios myself. Comfort zone. I guess you could bring it up at WT:PW and see if anyone bites. I agree, it would make for an interesting read. NiciVampireHeart 04:43, 30 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
Image replaced. NiciVampireHeart 14:24, 30 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
Fantastic! Thanks so much. NiciVampireHeart 22:39, 30 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
