Talk:Algol variable

Algol was not discovered by Geminiano Montari.("It was discovered in 1669 by Geminiano Montanari.") Algol represents "the Eye of the Gorgon Medusa", one of the classic mites. May be, Geminiano Montanari discovered this prototype of stars, but not the star itself. Coronellian 18:49, 25 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Changed, now it is consistent with Algol. Uxh (talk) 14:49, 5 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Sculptoris edit

The time is confusing to understand. 0.145 days is not a normally used form of notation. I did a quick calculation and estimated it to be ~3.48 hours. Would it be possible to add that to improve readability?--Marhawkman 07:45, 17 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Shortest Period edit

HW Virginis is a Algol variable too, and its period is shorter. So I changed it. I am not sure if this is now the one with the shortest period, but better than before...134.76.205.134 (talk) 13:22, 23 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
