This article reads as though translated, not very well, possibly from German. One glaring example: Is the Gesellschaft der Freunde intended to be the Gesellschaft Naturforschender Freunde zu Berlin (Berlin Society of Friends of Natural Science), or is it something else? Another example: "with celebrities such as Albert Einstein, he was among the first writers to bring the Theory of Relativity to a wider audience" does not make sense; at best it means that celebrities such as Einstein were the first writers to bring relativity to a wider audience, which is ahistorical.
