Image copyright problem with Image:CrimsonTideAlogo.png edit

The image Image:CrimsonTideAlogo.png is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

Infobox edit

I just included an infobox for the page. However, something's missing ... Alabama currently leads 44–23–5, yet I only counted 22 victories for LSU in the table. So, if someone could figure out where that other win is coming from... Latics (talk) 19:32, 9 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Not a true rivalry edit

This is only a rivalry for one side. Alabama fans do not consider this game to be nearly as important as LSU fans do, since the Crimson Tide has the Iron Bowl with Auburn, and Alabama fans also make a bigger deal about Tennessee (Third Saturday in October) than LSU for the most part.

Also, the series was grossly one-sided during the 1960s and 1970s, and again during the 1990s. It only became competitive since 2000, and has only gained such status in recent years due to Nick Saban coaching at Alabama after he previously coached at LSU.

I don't see where this series needs a Wikipedia page. It can go on the respective pages for the schools' football programs. DavidSteinle (talk) 00:31, 30 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
