Picture edit
I have added a photo which has the caption (in Swedish) "Arabist flyktingslager nara Sikem". Since it is on the same page as another picture: "Landskap vid Hebron" I have jumped to the conclusion that the camp is near Hebron i.e. Arroub. I'm am now having second thoughts and wonder if "Sikem" is a place-name that I don't recognise. Help! Padres Hana (talk) 21:46, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

- I have removed the picture since, on further thought, "Sikem" must translate as "Shechem" which gives Tel Balata - ref:Palestine and Palestinians. Alternative Tourism Group. page 254 - i.e. Balata Camp. Padres Hana (talk) 21:43, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
Proposed merge with Roman pool edit

Proposed merge with Al Arroup Secondary school for girls edit
Local school without any sign of notability, but may be worth mentioning in the article about the camp, if anyone can verify its existence. QVVERTYVS (hm?) 23:40, 20 December 2013 (UTC)
- There is now another article Arroup Secondary school which talks about the boys school. Both of these articles could easily merged in here under their own section. They have no notability to to warrant their own articles. --CyberXReftalk 18:38, 21 December 2013 (UTC)

The refugees in Al-Arroub camp descended from 33 displaced Palestinian villages. The camp was established in 1949, after the Palestinian Nakba, a year after the expulsion of the original Palestinian residents from their original villages: Iraq Al-Manshiyya, Beit Jibrin, Al-Duwayma, Bisan, Tal Al-Safi, Ajour, Zakaria .... 16 thousand people now live in the camp, with deliberately low services by the UNRWA and the authorities supervising the camp, high unemployment, almost non-existent infrastructure, "Now." There is a name for us that is “residents” and some countries call us refugees. The distance between Al-Arroub camp and the displaced village of Iraq Al-Manshiyya “Ghariat Ghat Al-Aan” is 20 minutes.
