The uncritical embedding of the BJP edit

This par from the Legacy section reads as if its a straight reiteration of the BJP's own view of themselves as embodying the authentic essence of Hinduism, or 'essential India', or something:

Integral humanism, of Deendayal Upadhyaya, was an influential ideological foundation for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). While the Bhagavad Gita, emphasizes duty, righteousness, and selflessness (altruism), its influence on the BJP's Integral Humanism can be seen in the party's focus on cultural and ethical values, decentralization, and the harmonious development of individuals and society. The BJP has drawn inspiration from both Integral Humanism and the Bhagavad Gita to shape its approach to governance and policy-making

... particularly the part after, "...seen in the party's focus ..." Could someone who is knowledgeable in this area, please rewrite into more neutral explanation of Integral humanism's influence on the BJP?

Don't think I'm competent in this area, otherwise would give it a try myself. (And the whole article could probably do with one of those {{Religious text primary}} hatnotes, tbh.) AukusRuckus (talk) 09:40, 5 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
