Suggestions edit

A few suggestions for additions.

  • Obviously more detail needed on the WWII establishments, Rottman's US Airborne Units in the Pacific Theater 1942-45 has some detail. Dunn (1999) is a history of the 1st Parachute Battalion, probably ok for bare facts.
  • the parachutist, SAS parachutist, Cdo parachutist and PJI badges should be mentioned, O'Connor (2005), while self-published, is worth a look if you can track down a copy, most State Libraries have one. Alternatively, Jobson (2009) has all the details. Chris ended up as RSM Ceremonial (having been a terrifying WO2 instructor at RMC) so he's going to be reliable on the issues of dress and insignia.
  • Some mention of the Red Berets display team would be appropriate   Done

Gday Peacemaker. Thanks very much for these suggestions. I've added a bit about the Red Berets now. I'm probably not looking at expanding it any more at the moment, although if I do I will add the rest if I can (I have Jobson's book but might struggle to get the others). If anyone else is looking to do something here though pls feel free. Anotherclown (talk) 05:51, 15 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
FWIW I've now finally added something on parachute badges (and maroon berets) from O'Connor, Jobson, and Terrett & Taubert per PM's suggestion above. Pls see my edits here [1]. Are there any cmts on this? Is it adequate / are there any suggested amendments? Thanks again. Anotherclown (talk) 03:40, 24 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
