I was surprised to find there was no existing general article on this topic. The title isn't right though - maybe it should be renamed to Aircraft communication. Any comments? —SMALL JIM 15:24, 7 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

First 2-way radio? edit

You report that the first case of 2-way aerial radio communication was in summer 1915, but the report on the 1917 American version by AT&T claims the same distinction. Valetude (talk) 16:27, 28 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

I've added some references to support Brooklands, England in summer 1915 as being the first case of two-way aircraft radio communications (balloons were earlier - but used Morse code so technical wireless telegraphy rather than wireless / radio telephony. I saw the claim about AT&T being the first in 1917 too - even AT&T claim this but they are wrong. E bruton (talk) 13:37, 1 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
