To add to introduction:

Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is an NHS Foundation Trust located in the suburb of Fazakerley, in the city of Liverpool, England. It was formerly known as University Hospital Aintree NHS Trust and became a Foundation Trust in 2006, the first general acute hospital in the city to be authorised "Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust". Monitor.

To add to Facilities:

Since authorisation as a Foundation Trust in 2006, Aintree University Hospital has invested more than £110 million in facilities without use of PFI funding, including the creation of the Elective Care Centre, which hosts day surgery and some outpatients services, a new diabetes centre and a £35m Urgent Care and Trauma Centre, due for completion in 2016, which supports its major trauma role "Step inside Aintree Hospital's new A&E as part of a £35m development". Liverpool Mayor Joe Anderson and Walton MP Steve Rotheram officially opened Phase One of the Urgent Care and Trauma Centre in June 2015 "Hospital a life-saver says MP". Liverpool Echo. Retrieved 28 July 2015.

To add to Performance:

The Care Quality Commission rated the Trust as Good for all clinical services in an inspection in 2015 "CQC website"., the first hospital in Liverpool to receive this rating . It remains one of just a handful of hospitals to be rated as Good outside of the ‘golden triangle’ of London, Oxford and Cambidge "England's Golden Triangle". New Scientist. Retrieved 20 April 2005.

The significant success of the mortality reduction programme was noted by the reduction in the SHMI identified by the Health & Social Care Information Centre, which confirmed Aintree University Hospital’s return to normal levels for the year January 2014 – December 2014 "Deaths following time in hospital NHS Trusts, England" (PDF). Health and Social Care Information Centre. Retrieved 29 July 2015.. The hospital’s HSMR rating continued to remain lower than average.

Aintree University Hospital was most improved hospital nationally in the Picker NHS National Inpatient Survey for 2014, noting improvements from 2013 in relation to cleanliness, confidence in doctors, explanations given ahead of surgical procedures, quality of food, emotional support provided by staff, and discussions about health and social care needs prior to discharge from hospital "National results from the 2014 Inpatient Survey" (PDF). Hi there. I have reviewed the edit request, and have to decline it - lots of proposed content to be added is either outdated or promotional. In my opinion, the edits won't improve the updated article. Regards, VB00 (talk) 04:24, 31 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
