Promotion of subspecies edit

The representatives of the genus in West Africa have been reviewed and revised by Mediannikov et al. (2012) A Molecular Study of the Genus Agama (Squamata: Agamidae) in West Africa, with Description of Two New Species and a Review of the Taxonomy, Geographic Distribution, and Ecology of Currently Recognized Species. Russian Journal of Herpetology 19(2). According to these authors, A. africana is a valid species. This Wikipedia article is therefore in need of revision, but I don't have access to the article to do the work (sorry about that) — GRM (talk) 22:13, 31 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
