Muir edit

This is inconsistent with other sources including NSW Govt records. Secretary Index, 1788-1825

The exact circumstances of Muir's ownership not known, Lightfoot and Ryan are mentioned in colonial records. I have edited the article to correct a couple of errors with respect to how much land Muir owned (he did not own all Kirribilli) and also Ryan's period of ownership (he did own all Kirribilli) etc.

I also added the reference to the Surry incident, but not sure how directly it relates to Admiralty House, so will not feel at all offended if someone wants to remove it later.

I have also recently created a page on the original owner, Colonel Gibbes and added WP links to take a user to the page. Greatly surprised that the page on Gibbes had not previously been written. That has eliminated some red links from this page. AWHS (talk) 09:52, 4 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Admiralty House, KirribilliAdmiralty House, Sydney – Sydney is much better known than Kirribilli and so the suggested target is commoner and more recognizable world-wide. DrKiernan (talk) 17:04, 13 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Note that the article was previously at Admiralty House, Sydney for several years before this undiscussed move.  AjaxSmack  01:39, 14 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
