Rewrite edit

I was having a go at a nearly total re-write of this page, but time has gotten the better of me and I have to pause to go to work. Hopefully later I will add more content, as well as photos and links. Cheers. AtD 14:59, 18 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Livery edit

Is this the correct page to describe/show the standard bus/train/new tram livery? Is it "Adelaide Metro" livery or is it "TransAdelaide" livery? 61.88.61.66 02:43, 3 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, this would be the best place. It's Adelaide Metro livery, I guess, since Torrens Transit, etc, use it.AtD 04:52, 3 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

2008 Budget edit

I just added all the relevant information from the 2008 budget link I have provided about future development. There are 2 points with the link article that I'm unsure of.

Train Section - "All rail guage will be standardised and the Gawler line will then be electrified". I'm not sure if that means Adelaide will adopt the interstate rail type (standard guage) as the other states already use? but I just assumed that the statement meant things would stay the same (broad guage).

Bus Section - "planning is about to begin on "gated-interchanges" where tickets are validated before the bus arrives". I'm unsure whether this will be rolled out at Train stations as well similar to Melbourne or just for a couple of Bus interchanges along the O-Bahn. As the comment used "will save valuable time and make boarding times easier and quicker" as it is the same process on trains when passengers crowd around the machines making boarding and access even for the driver sometimes awkward.Denzelio (talk) 01:30, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Free services edit

Some buses and trams are free. You do not need to pay for these services. Can we make a section for this?101.178.163.208 (talk) 07:20, 26 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Trains and trams returning to Government edit

In 2025, both Keolis Downer and Torrens Connect will hand back operation back to public hands [1], this will need to be either added in now, or modified when the swap is done. Kevoeeeee (talk) 12:04, 19 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
