Diplomat in the US

The long section about him as a diplomat, even after trimming, is about US-Saudi relations and has nothing to do with the subject of this biography. The whole section seems to be praising Saudi and its relations with the US, but we shouldnt be doing either of those things unless it is in the context of Jubeir and sourced and neutral, as is the material about Jubeir as Foreign Minister here. Besides, he can reasonably be imputed to be at least partly responsible for the foreign policies; but he isnt responsible for all the stuff mentioned in the diplomatic section, and if he were we would have the sources to prove it, as we do in the foreign section, here he is directly attributed to the policies. I propose to delete all irrelevant material which may mean the whole diplomatic section goes. Article format and perimeters

No doubt Adel is a nice person who has done a lot of diplomatic work; however, this article reads like a personal resume for a job application (Oct 2018). Too many peripheral details are included about anything that happened in the world remotely related to any country that made a telephone call to or had anything to do with Saudi Arabia at the time he was employed in a position. So the article does not really tell you about him, his skills or abilities as much as it is a narrative about world events and the history of his work, ie., a resume. It's obvious he was sacked as U.S. Ambassador so the King could have one of his sons in the job (who had absolutely no experience in diplomacy or government administration). Adel offers no explanation for the Kingdom's beheadings, disappearances, and foreign abductions/kipnapings, even of members of the Royal Family or former employees. Minister of State for Foreign Affairs vs Minister of Foreign Affairs

According to this source [2] Adel Al-Jubeir is not the minister of foreign affairs but the minister of state for foreign affairs. I don't know the differences between these two but there is no alternative redirect.--SharabSalam (talk) 00:25, 31 May 2019 (UTC)

User:SharabSalam, quite, presently the article says he was "Minister of Foreign Affairs" until December 2018, when he became "Minister of State for Foreign Affairs". And both redirect to Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Saudi Arabia) . What is the difference between the two? And who is the boss? (I assume it is the "Minister of Foreign Affairs", ie Ibrahim Abdulaziz Al-Assaf). I have just never heard of a position of "Minister of State for Foreign Affairs" (it was established for his predecessor Nizar Madani). You normally don't have 2 people at the top, sharing the responsibility at a foreign office, so I assume that is not the case here, Huldra (talk) 20:17, 31 May 2019 (UTC)

I don't know the difference but both jobs can be linked to the article of Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Saudi Arabia). Its says that the executive agency are Ibrahim Abdulaziz Al-Assaf, is the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. Adel al-Jubeir, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.
