Possible improvements edit

I have just completed the B class checklist and feel that this article could be improved by addressing the following issues:

  • Referencing: for a successful B class review, an article needs at least one in line citation per paragraph (ideally one per assertion or point that could possibly be disputed);
  • Structure: a more defined structure, including a concise introductory section of between a couple of sentences to a couple of paragraphs, would add to the article. A suggestion might be to use the following structure: Introduction, Background, Fighting, Aftermath, Notes, References, See also, External links. That might help with expansion of the article also.

Just a few ideas. Once you feel it is ready, you may like to seek re-assessment. This can be done by adding the article's name to the list at WP:MHA. Also, if you would like more detail suggestions, you might like to include it on the list at WP:MHPR. Hope this helps. AustralianRupert (talk) 06:24, 11 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Acknowledge Gurkha Valor!!! edit

Why didn't you mention the wartime involvement of the Gurkha regiments? You have their picture, but you're under no obligation to acknowledge their valor in battle. 103.167.232.5 (talk) 02:48, 1 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

If you have a specific reference to any particularly notable acts by any troops during this action, they can be added to the article. Yorkist (talk) 09:57, 9 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
