Needs a better description

This article describes an achromatic lens, which makes it simply a duplicate copy of that article. What's here should probably be moved there, and a better description of an Achromatic telescope (if there is one) should be put up here. Fountains of Bryn Mawr 01:26, 2 December 2007 (UTC)

I'd agree that the article ties in closely with achromatic lens, but achromatic lens has relevance beyond telescopes. I would prefer to keep the article, and, as you suggest, provide a better description of Achromatic telescope. For example, the brief description of Littrow lens has relevance specifically for telescopes only. GrahamP (talk) 02:38, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
