I've removed the citreq statement " in order to generate a more family-friendly rating." as it remains unsourced plus, as I recall, the reason was actually that time had moved on -- the film came ten years after the original stage play -- and the general status of gay performers had improved somewhat, thus making the play's emphasis rather dated. --AlisonW (talk) 22:13, 2 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
