CF-18 edit

The CF-18 pages says the CF-18s have been upgraded from the APG-65 to the APG-73, and contradics this article.

You should have kept reading. This article also says that Canada uses the APG-73. However, no where does the article state that Canada uses one type over the other. It would be good to find a source that gives the service dates of each type. - BillCJ 05:54, 3 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • Canada finished their CF-18 Phase 1 upgrade in 2006, so APG-73 radars should have replaced all the -65s. It's outdated info, not contradictory, imo. -Fnlayson 06:11, 3 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

I think maybe I was wrong. The CF-18 article says that only 80 CF-18s were upgraded. I assume then the others were not, and retain their APG-65 radars. Is this the case?

  • Good point, I had missed the 80 thing. They had 123 CF-18 in 2003. Eventually the rest are inactive or something and won't be upgraded. -Fnlayson 03:14, 4 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
