ABC islandsABC Islands – Both listed topic's articles use a capital I. 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 20:53, 28 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • Support. Seems non-controversial to me. Rreagan007 (talk) 23:00, 28 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • Support per WP:DABNAME since both are proper nouns in addition to ABC Islands bear. I'd say this could easily be speedily moved as uncontroversial per above. Crouch, Swale (talk) 07:15, 29 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
Neutral per the below, noting that although the DAB now has 1 upper case "I" and 1 lower case but there is also as noted ABC Islands bear that could be added. Crouch, Swale (talk) 08:27, 3 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • Support and speedy close. -- Netoholic @ 12:51, 29 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
In light of the mentioned undiscussed moves, going to oppose. Certainly, this titles of this disambig and the listed articles are tied together per WP:DABNAME. -- Netoholic @ 03:19, 30 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose. These are not proper names. The Caribbean islands were subject to an undiscussed move just this past February; I've reverted the change to the capital I. The Alaska islands should also be moved to lower case. I do favor moving ABC islands (Leeward Antilles) to this title as the WP:primary topic (see pageviews), putting a hatnote on it, and eliminating the dab page per WP:TWODABS. • Oppose - Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao are islands. For example, the Marshall Islands, aka Republic of the Marshall Islands, would be a proper noun. The ABC islands is simply an acronym. Also see BES islands. Caribbean Netherlands or Dutch Caribbean would be title case since both words are proper nouns. Adding link that may help clear-up confusion over miscapitalizations: See Dutch Caribbean Legal Portal. Atsme Talk 📧 21:17, 1 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • Support ABC islands is an example of bad English grammar. If these three islands are collectively known as the ABC Islands, then the word becomes a Proper Noun, proper nouns should always be capitalized. The same can be said for the SSS Islands and the BES Islands. Xindeho (talk) 09:26, 4 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
You are incorrect. See the link I just added. Also see the first paragraph of WP:NCCPT. ABC islands is nothing more than an acronym for 3 proper nouns that comprise a common noun; i.e., "islands". Neither ABC nor BES are a formal governmental unit that would warrant titling as a proper noun. See UN geonames. Atsme Talk 📧 13:51, 5 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
