7 Seconds → 7 Seconds (band) — Is that hardcore-punk band really that famous enough to be in its current namespace? 7 Seconds could be a song, a movie, an episode of a television serie, the second highest mountains of each of the seven continents or the name of an hardcore punk band active for 30 years, having released 15 albums and considered very influential on the Straight edge and Positive hardcore scenes as well as on the Hardcore punk scene as a whole. For some, this band is not famous, but for some others the 7 Seconds song is not either. From Wikipedia:Notability: "Determining notability does not necessarily depend on things like fame, importance, or popularity". Such a band is more of a lifetime achievement than an international hit and, in my opinion, would deserve to come before a song (or a movie, a TV episode...). Since I am not saying that the article about the song should be moved to the namespace currently belonging to the band, the band's page should belong to the proposed namespace, wheras the disambiguation page move to where I proposed. Trouble with your claim is, where do I see any of this claim that they are influential within the article by a third reliable party source, all I see is their claim that they are "first band to refer to themselves primarily as hardcore" which comes from their own website, if not a fansite, meaning it fails reliable third party source guidelines. Those sub genre that you have mentioned as being influenced within, like Black Metal, Industrial rock, amongst a forever list, are those that will only attract a small minority of people, apologies with I say that but this is how some will think. Also, what did the header say, "This appeared on the 7 Seconds Wiki page for about a month...", does that mean that that article is ripped off from this article a month after this was created (9 November 2004), really, this is a big time reliable third party source guidelines failure. Did this band start in 1979 or 1980?

The Kevin Seconds article says he started the band in 1979, but the 7 Seconds article says it was started in 1980. Dasilva (talk) 09:34, 21 December 2010 (UTC)

Old School is not a compilation

1982 Flipside interview does not make sense
