Improper edit?

I don't know if the section regarding the World War II was written this way intentionally, but the following line has been inserted into the text:

The 5th ID became the first Allied unit to cross the Rhine River on the night of 22 March 1945. (The Rhine was crossed at Remagen on 7,8,9 March 1945, 9th Armoured Division, units of 9th ID and 78th ID) After capturing some 19,000 German soldiers, the division continued to Frankfurt-am-Main, clearing and policing the town and its environs, 27–29 March.

The bold is in the text on the article page. This statement seems confusing, and based on some of the erroneous edits that are in the history of this page it would seem that this was one that was missed. I am not arguing about the information, but the format should be fixed so there aren't two conflicting dates.Kintrix (talk) 10:03, 9 October 2013 (UTC)

I removed the 125th Signal Bn from the listing of subordinate units today; 125th Signal Bn was part of the 25th Division for its entire history and has now been inactivated and reorganized as part of that division's Forward Support Battalions. 72.0.15.8 (talk) 19:26, 18 September 2014 (UTC)

1989 listing of units

I have removed this section, (a) because Rottman's data, on page 31 of his book, does not specify which battalions were part of each brigade; and (b) because it is not 1989. It is 1988 or before; his book was published in 1988. I will copy this note, as with the others, to the current, main talkpage discussion. Buckshot06 (talk) 01:11, 2 July 2020 (UTC)

I have again regretfully had to make a slightly rude total revert on Noclador's last edit to this page; Gordon Rottman's data, 1988, does not support or verify assignment of battalions to individual maneuver brigades in 1989. Buckshot06 (talk) 00:22, 3 July 2020 (UTC)
