Square top mainsail

"Square top mainsail" also deserves elucidation. Is this a square sail carried above the main sail? Unfree (talk) 09:31, 20 February 2010 (UTC)Square top mainsail is a technical term for a mainsail, that is not triangular, but quadrangular (in extreme cases its shape is close to a rectangle).
