Talk:3D audio effect

Page Needs Rewrite edit

This page needs a rewrite by someone who knows the field. There are several nonsense statements, statements of opinion and pieces of product marketing, without covering major tech in this area. There seems to be a confusion between 3D sound on headphones and 3D sound using other techniques. I'd suggest removing this page and merging anything useful from here into the Surround Sound, Ambiophonics or HRTF pages which seems to handle the subjects better.

3D audio presentations edit

I 3-D audio effects. I thought at least one example of the effect would be appropriate, but as the article is very technical in its presentation it may be out of place. Similarly, I don't know if a "discography" of 3-D audio is warranted here. Opinions? --McDoobAU93 17:43, 13 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Headphones... edit

The only problem is that the 3D sound works, in fact, with only headphones. And what is dolby surround? edit
