Explosions

The article says that the explosions were caused by detonator caps. But the standard method of detonation is electrical. Is there any specific reference to caps ? It was reported that the explosions were caused by the detonators, I suggest that the most likely explanation is an electrical fuse, could be a bit of fuse wire or a low voltage bulb broken open, or a photographic flashbulb broken open, with semtex filaments carrying the fire throughout the body of the charge. "terrorist attack"

Per WP:Avoid the words "terrorist" and "terrorism" should be avoided. This guideline is inconsistently followed, and is less likely to be followed on pages documenting attacks on or in Western countries than on or in 3rd World or non-NATO countries. This amounts to Systemic bias. This page is a prominent example of the use of these words when they could be avoided.

The article currently says "It was immediately apparent that the explosions were the result of a terrorist attack..." I propose replacing "terrorist" with "intentional". It changes the meaning of the sentence only slightly--by being more specific if anything.

I am discussing this rather than simply changing the word because I have attempted to remove all references to "terrorist" and "terrorism" from the article once already (in the process making the unfortunate and embarrassing choice to use the word "extremist"--also part of the guideline). This particular instance of the word was reverted. However, I still think the article would be better off without it, and I would like to change it with consensus. "Islamic terrorism"

Whoever keeps adding the words "islamic terrorism" and related templates to the article, should better find reliable sources for this. As it stands now, the perpetrators were found guilty of an "intention to murder" and not of terrorism. The article, based on sources, also makes it clear that the motive behind the attack was "revenge" and not religion (i.e., a sense of a religious obligation). Will be removing these POV templates added fairly recently. — kashmīrī ^TALK 08:53, 1 May 2020 (UTC)
