Multiple players withdrawn from event edit

WST has announced several players have withdrawn (by choice or by being a suspended player) and that Ricky Walden is no longer part of the Qualifying rounds, as a result of a withdrawl from one of the 16 who were already invited to the final stages: https://wst.tv/six-red-world-championship-qualifying-updated-draw/

However, documenting that Ricky Walden has been withdrawn from the event and that his opponent (either Robbie Williams or Rebecca Kenna) will go to Round 3 automatically seems to be impossible because, although the match can be skipped, no line will be drawn directly from a R1 match to an R3 match. Any ideas how we go about sorting out this literal mess of a draw?

I'd leave the draw as it is, and then use the w/d+w/o style for those who've withdrawn after the draw. Nigej (talk) 18:27, 6 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
Just follow exactly what the livescores link says. If there's some confusion in that source we can revisit. Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 19:01, 6 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
Okay, sounds good to me! Thanks both. -- CitroenLover (talk) 19:18, 6 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
The live scores still shows the Williams v Walden match as needing to be played, but due to that article on wst.tv I've decided to move Robbie Williams straight through to round 3 anyway. Hope that's alright. Storm0005 (talk) 11:56, 7 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Maximums in infobox edit

I've always thought that the justification for the high break being in the infobox is that there's a prize associated with it. Otherwise there seems to be no more point in adding it than loads of other stats that could be added. As far as I know there's no prize money in this case so I'd suggest removing it from the infobox. I'm keen that they mentioned in the article, its just the infobox I'm concerned about. Nigej (talk) 21:05, 8 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Adding the highest break to the info box is generally an interesting addition, for curiosity's sake, even if there is no money in it. However, in the case of the six reds, a maximum break is considerably easier to achieve than in regular 15 reds and we've already seen four happen. I believe that there are more to come in the later stages of the tournament, which will lead to further cluttering of the info box, which in turn will lead to a detraction of attention from the eventual winner and runner up, who both will be added. Therefor I would like to suggest that rather than removing it entirely, we replace the list with a link to said list further down in the article. Storm0005 (talk) 14:44, 9 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
Late, but yes, I don't think we should list out every player in the infobox who made a 75 break. Instead, we should just give the total number of players and provide an anchor link to a section on the page listing out every player who specifically made a 75 break. --CitroenLover (talk) 21:55, 11 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
