This should be restored to an article and never should have been protected in the first place. We have now 1 (Lachlan Carr) 2 (ChampsRT) 3 (Local Potentate) and 4 (myself) editors disputing the repeated redirection by one user (Onel5969), which should never have happened - when a redirect is contested it needs to be discussed at AFD or similar venues unless there is a major issue immediately requiring it to be removed from mainspace, which there is not here. Onel5969 cited the previous AFD as the reason to restore the redirect; however, something that is very important to note is that the "delete" result there as well as the ensuing declines of this in draftspace are because of TOOSOON issues, i.e. because the season had not happened yet. The season is currently underway, with Canberra having played several games already, and so this redirect should be restored into an article. If anyone believes it is non-notable, it must be taken to AFD again as the original AFD's concern no longer applies. BeanieFan11 (talk) 17:22, 27 March 2023 (UTC)
