An anonymous editor renamed the title of the infobox to "2023 Baltimore Block Party Shooting" and I wanted to get consensus on renaming the page to "2023 Brooklyn Homes shooting" or similar. While I recognize this is a quote from a local news article, it is inaccurate and unnecessarily misleading. The factors that differentiate a rifle from a pistol are barrel length, presence or absence of a forward vertical grip and other physical characteristics. The caliber of ammunition is not a factor, therefore the term "rifle-caliber pistol" is non sensible. Any caliber fired from a rifle is a rifle caliber. Any caliber fired from a pistol is a pistol caliber. Lastly, unless there is evidence (ie witnesses, video etc) to identify the type of weapon, there is no way to know whether a casing was fired from a rifle or a pistol.
