Are there photos about this event? edit

I don't know. Just wondering if there are any photos. PatricioZavala (talk) 02:44, 7 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

@PatricioZavala: There would be, but since Pakistan doesn't have something like GODL-India, it is difficult to find a freely licensed image. Thanks, User4edits (talk) 17:50, 9 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Name change proposal edit

I propose changing the name of this article from "2022 Pakistani constitutional crisis" to "2022 Pakistani political crisis". The event is referred to as a political crisis way more than a constitutional crisis by RS. It makes no sense to stay with a name that is barely used by mainstream media. Fijipedia (talk) 02:24, 11 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Fijipedia: This is more than a political crisis as there have been constitutional violations by the highest constitutional offices themselves. In fact, this amounts effectively to a constitutional coup. See a very similar incident of 1953 1953 Pakistani constitutional coup. Had it continued for a few more days, or it grows anything beyond this, the article shall need to be changed from constitutional crisis to constitutional coup. Thanks, User4edits (talk) 03:59, 11 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
I don't think that's important. My point is that "political crisis" is by far the most used term referring to this event, and therefore should be included in the title. Fijipedia (talk) 15:59, 11 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

No information on protests edit

Why isn't there any information concerning the protests against Khan's removal that erupted yesterday and today? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Twa0726 (talkcontribs) 06:12, 11 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Agree. The protests have been MASSIVE, and in cities all over the country. The article definitely needs to be updated! -2003:CA:874F:BBFB:E064:2FDC:8620:FA47 (talk) 11:08, 11 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

NPOV and Judicial Coup? edit

An editor is repeatedly reverting the recent events as "Successful judicial coup" at Military coups in Pakistan, and citing WP:NPOV references, etc. You're thoughts are welcomed at the that talk page Thanks, User4edits (talk) 19:33, 11 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Enquiry about restriction on edits on this page edit

I added detailed updates in the “reaction” section in this page with an intention to post neutral point of views, apparently in an act of bias, someone deleted the details and applied restrictions on this page, disallowing further edits. Why did this happen? 103.170.179.234 (talk) 19:47, 16 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
