Flocked to Social media (Facebook?) edit
Dear User and friend: you wrote the following sentence: « The citizens of Kiribati flocked to social media to offer their praise and congratulations to Justice Semilota. ». There is only one social media widely used in Kiribati, Facebook, as the others are not very common and sometimes very unusual. By the way, Semilota as every nominated person received undoubtedly many congratulations for her new position but that doesn’t mean that I-Kiribati are not concerned by her position and her ambiguity during the constitutional crisis (she never faced personally her duties and she was even considered as comptenting in court!). - the source said: "Citizens have commented on Facebook, offering their praise and congratulations to Justice Semilota." and your rephrasing doesn't render it properly.--Arorae (talk) 13:46, 5 November 2022 (UTC)
- Mauri. I have amended my edit as per your discussion. KRtau16 (talk) 14:40, 5 November 2022 (UTC)
- Also, I am in no way supporting the appointment. I was just adding the praises as per the ABC source. I thought I'll just add (in good faith) the responses of those who congratulated Justice Semilota in the name of balancing the article. Feel free to add more to the appointment and thank you for reviewing my edits. KRtau16 (talk) 14:47, 5 November 2022 (UTC)
