  •   Article meets DYK requirements, is free from close paraphrasing, and has a QPQ done. Of the two hooks, I think the first hook has the broadest appeal since it's not reliant on being a snooker fan. I could also suggest that you propose an ALT about him only joining the competition for the prize money and he knew he wouldn't win, but it's optional and it won't hold back the nom. It's also cited inline and verified in the source. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 01:53, 11 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

I'll review this. Hope to make some progress in the next few days. BoJó | talk UTC 04:10, 24 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello. This is sourced well and the coverage is good without excessive detail. The article is stable, the images seem to be okay and there are no problems around OR, POV, etc. I do have a problem with GACR#1, though, because the lead should be a summary of the narrative and some of the content in this lead, especially in the second paragraph, is a duplication of narrative content. I think the best thing to do will be to ensure the content is all there and is what you need to say, and then rewrite the lead in summary form. I'll put it on hold for now but there is no rush to complete – I don't do deadlines. It's otherwise fine and if you can resolve the duplication, it should pass easily. Thanks. Hi, no problem. I've given it a bit of a reword. The important parts of this para is to get across the format of the event (8 participants and who was invited), that there was no restrictions due to COVID, (which is a big deal!) and that Xingtong was replaced due to covid (as otherwise when we say that the top-6 were invited, and we have seventh placed Williams in the first round it's a bit of a misnomer). Perhaps the previous wording was close to a copy-pasta from the main body. I've done a reword and let me know what you think. Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 14:16, 26 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
It looks fine now, Lee. That was all it needed. I'll do the promotion and add it to the GA list. Well done. BoJó | talk UTC 19:06, 26 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
