This appears to be the extent of the coverage for the time being. For a current event, this article did not grow much in the immediate aftermath; I would say we should merge these two articles unless and until more details emerge. - It seems like many Iraq-related articles are little more than stubs and in serious need of attention. I think this is probably because WikiProject Iraq is only semi-active. Charles Essie (talk) 21:30, 3 September 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose. The political crisis and the Baghdad protests are discrete subjects warranting their own articles, with each meeting WP:GNG and WP:SUSTAINED as evidenced by continuing coverage in reliable sources such as The New York Times. ––FormalDude (talk) 10:24, 28 September 2022 (UTC)
