This page was created to provide an overview of all the state leagues held across India. Similar to Japanese Regional Leagues or National Premier Leagues. Many viewers find it hard to discover the state leagues (some do not even have articles written), it can help record some state leagues which do not have a dedicated Wikipedia article. Besides, it is better to have the overview table of the teams eligible for I-League 2nd Division in this article rather than the main IL2 article which can include actual participants. For future, it will also act as a base page for the fourth division football in India when AIFF changes the structure in the near future. You can help by improving the article.
