Considering/Looking at/Eyeing entry vs. To enter edit

One of the persistent article edits especially in this one is adding entries based on articles from two sources - TouringCarTimes.com and TouringCars.net. These two sites provide trustworthy information regarding the TCR Series which includes TCR UK. However in some articles it's been said that "Team X is looking at entering TCR UK", while in others it's like "Team Y to enter TCR UK with ABC TCR". We need to make a distinction between looking at/considering/eyeing an entry from to enter a racing series. Considering/looking at/eying is just that - they're merely considering an entry without full confirmation that they'll do so. To enter on the other hand means that they will enter the series in question.

So in conclusion DO NOT enter certain entries or add cars to a certian teams without a full confirmation. @CGM 20 @Vettelisthebest Ivaneurope (talk) 12:19, 30 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

I agree completely with what you are saying @Ivaneurope, but Brisky Racing have confirmed on their social media that they will run the Golf. CGM 20 (talk) 13:40, 30 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
Social media tends not to be the most reliable or trustworthy source even if this comes from an official account - that's why IMO it's better to have it first confirmed on reliable dedicated sites like Autosport, TouringCarTimes, TouringCars.NET, the official TCR sited etc. That's my stance on the issue @CGM 20 Ivaneurope (talk) 15:48, 30 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
They've confirmed it on TouringCarTimes anyway Ivaneurope (talk) 17:31, 2 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
