The result of the move request was: reverted to stable title per WP:RMUM. I have left a message at WP:RMUM for help cleaning up related moves so that a full discussion can take place instead of having a the titles determined by fait accompli. Dekimasuよ! 21:36, 19 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

2018 Scottish Open → 2018 Scottish Open (snooker) – There are many Scottish Open tournaments in different sports each year. For example, 2018 Scottish Open (badminton), 2018 Scottish Open (golf), 2018 Scottish Open (darts), 2018 Scottish Open (speedway). Note, many Scottish Open (snooker) and Welsh Open (snooker) year articles were moved some days ago without discussion. Restore them back all. 46.211.10.122 (talk) 20:41, 19 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

First, any such recent moves should be reverted via WP:RMUM before any necessary discussion is initiated. Second, the moves should not have taken place. Lee Vilenski was advised in multiple locations (WT:RM, WP:RFP/PM) that WP:BOLD moves are not appropriate when there is a reasonable possibility that someone may object to them. The explicit objection above makes it even more clear that the moves are not uncontroversial, and should have been preceded by requested move discussions. The amount of work involved in reverting these moves is a burden on other editors. Please do not continue to make moves of this kind without first achieving a consensus in favor of the moves.
