Let's make this understandable. The version with the finals to the right starts having problems at 1175 pixels in width and refuses to wrap or grow smaller. The one with it to the right compacts down to 1015 and starts to do some wrapping. On my Mobile, only the first column displays in either variation when in portrait view while in landscape view it only displays the teams in the third level, not their scores. Both are too small for the minimum resolution of modern Windows displays (800x600) but only even poorest of desktop displays are set to a more reasonable 1024x768. In this resolution, neither would display fully as we have the sidebar to contend with. I don't know that there are any guidelines or manuals of style that address minimum and maximum width, but MOS:ACCESS might offer the bet advice. Walter Görlitz (talk) 18:06, 22 April 2019 (UTC)

@S.A. Julio: I specifically asked that you discuss this on the talk page before reverting to the compact bracket. There is no logical or policy-based reason to use the compact bracket that I am aware of. We should use a normal, standard bracket layout unless there is some reason you're keeping from us. Exactly. No tournament brackets come even remotely close to fitting on mobile devices, and collapsing the final round doesn't help with any common desktop/laptop resolution. There is no reason to use the compact layout. Wicka wicka (talk) 13:27, 26 April 2019 (UTC)
