As fixtures on BCCI websites, it shows Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy , North zone, west zone etc. , Also it shows Super league round Group A & B, so it looks format has been reverted to previous one . Suggesting to merger it with 2017–18 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by H1007 (talk • contribs) 11:36, 3 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
As far as I can tell, they are two different tournaments. Here they play as the traditional teams, with the "best XI" from each group then becoming the zone teams (e.g. East Zone) in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. LugnutsFire Walk with Me 11:42, 3 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
Yes, that was format in 2016-17 season, but according to fixtures, it like format of 2014-15 and earlier seasons. H1007 (talk) 11:55, 3 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
As far as I can tell from all the press sources, the Super League part becomes the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, with the rest being this Zonal tournament. I'll see what happens once the matches start. LugnutsFire Walk with Me 08:26, 4 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
Now, as it is clear, format is same as season 2014-15. So, it can be merged with 2017–18 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy page. H1007 (talk) 07:49, 24 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
