Name

Some notes about the article title:

• I've named it "2016" (as opposed to 2015-16) since, although the detection of the Basslink fault was in December 2015, the remainder of the event will play out this year. I believe it will be seen as a 2016 event in the future.
• Some may say omit the year entirely - but there was a "1960-something Tasmanian energy crisis" as well (resulted in the construction of the BBPS, as well as the HEC buying ships to act as giant generators, so it was certainly a notable event) -- Chuq (talk) 13:03, 25 February 2016 (UTC)

There are very few statistical graphs of hydro storage or output on wp, most hydro articles are under illustrated imho, something like this if it is ok for usage, go for it! if there was a better way of identifying years by something horizontal viewing, it might help JarrahTree

The current graph showing the green area "Carbon Tax period" against the energy storage levels is not well explained in the article. ie hydro power being renewable, and Basslink power being non renewable vs demand and compared with rainfall. I am concerned a casual reader will not be able to understand the complexity and may take away, carbon tax reduced the storage levels by approx 50% and now the Basslink is broken we only have months before the lights turn off. This is overly simplistic and to easy to miss represent. Perhaps separate graphs or additional information regarding electrical generation may help. Regards CamV8 (talk) 22:59, 7 April 2016 (UTC)
