Talk:2016–17 Scottish League One

Biggest win edit

I want to discuss this before I go any further. It's been changed a couple of times in the past so I want to get an agreement with it before anything else happens. There have been three four goal home wins this season. From what I have have read elsewhere on wikipedia, the consensus would appear that all three matches should be included regardless of how many goals the winning team scored in the match (see here, here and here). @CoatbridgeChancellor: I'm assuming you disagree with me on this point and I'd invite you to let me know why the Scottish leagues should be different. It's only my opinion that as Livingston have scored more goals it should be considered as the highest. However if elsewhere on Wikipedia it's is considered that equal margins should be recorded together I have no problem with this. Please remove my edit if you feel it is inconsistent with Wiki guidelines and I will refrain from making any further changes in this manner. That's why I wanted to discuss it. I don't know if there is a specific guideline but I feel, like you've said, we should consistent with the rest so I'll go ahead and make the change to keep it that way. Stevie fae Scotland (talk) 15:56, 15 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Agree with @Stevie fae Scotland:, in that the consensus appears to indicate all matches are considered 'Biggest Wins'. In addition, the example used on Template:Infobox football league season corresponds with how the infobox is currently edited, so I suggest that, moving forward, this should indeed be the guide which is applied to all four tiers of the SPFL Exxy (talk) 11:32, 17 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Agreed @Exxy:, if we can keep it uniform across the leagues from now on it will be the best solution. CoatbridgeChancellor (talk) 23:28, 17 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
