Precedes & Follows edit

Is there a mix-up here? ----ශ්වෙත (talk) 13:48, 12 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

No, this meeting follows the 2011 meeting and preceds the 2015 meeting.--obi2canibetalk contr 15:19, 18 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Elizabeth II link edit

Is there any purpose to the link to Elizabeth II being a redirect (Queen Elizabeth II)? --Ħ MIESIANIACAL 19:20, 1 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

I think there is, as it is a method that maintains aesthetic consistency without contravening WP:NOPIPE, and successfully blues up the link without increasing the article size at all. Moreover, despite what is stated in WP:NOPIPE, a multitude of articles employ this method of linking: Queen Elizabeth II. For the sake of example, the page about Elizabeth II herself states that—in the section detailing her early life—her father was the second son of King George V and Queen Mary; no editors of this page appear to have any irritation or qualms about this. A similar system can be seen over at Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother's page in the lead section (she was the wife of King George VI and the mother of Queen Elizabeth II, etc) and this was the status-quo on Princess Margaret's page until mid-October 2013. Furthermore, the link to the Queen's eldest son is displayed as Prince Charles, Prince of Wales to incorporate his title that naturally precedes his name, Prince, and no editors have appear to have any apparent problems with that. That the wrong way to link happens elsewhere is no reason to do so here, or anywhere, for that matter.
Regardless, the question was about the creation of a redirect to Elizabeth II for no apparent reason. No reason has yet been provided.
As for the link to Charles, Prince of Wales, is "Prince Charles, Prince of Wales" the "natural" way to refer to him? It seems, rather, that it's either "Prince Charles", "Charles, Prince of Wales", "the Prince of Wales", "Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales", or "the Prince of Wales, Prince Charles". --Ħ MIESIANIACAL 20:07, 7 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Sources? edit

[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8] have no citations or reason for it.(Lihaas (talk) 15:33, 16 November 2013 (UTC)).Reply

Edit War: Tamil edit

The revertings and re-instatings of the wikilink definiton of Tamil is causing other edits to get lost. Can this please be worked out in Talk? Morfusmax (talk) 16:45, 21 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Mauritian Boyccot edit

Mauritian Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam was boycott the summit because his country cannot host the next summit in 2015. They have no capable of handling large summit like this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Randeepa (talkcontribs) 19:20, 13 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
