Very good article, with just smaller things needing atttention:

  • You sometimes use quite unencyclopedic terms like "he was out of it" or that the peloton swept them all. You might want to search for a more factual tone there.
  • Starting with stage 14, you use the same words for describing the early stages of the race, always involving the phrase "closed down within minutes" and so forth, maybe there can be more variety here?
  • Stage 15: Meaningful attack sounds weird, like an attack is a philosophical act.
  • Stage 18: A note should be added making clear that Armstrong subsequently was stripped of all bar 2 of his 22 stage victories.
  • Stage 20: In the first paragraph, it sounds like the sprint finish is part of the course. Naturally, there was the theoretical chance that the stage was not decided by a bunch sprint.
