Red Bull edit

Should the illegal red bull car hole be mentioned from the monaco grand prix as they have to change their car to make it legal? Please excuse my poor skills with html on this wiki as i rarely do edits. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.128.186.246 (talkcontribs)

Spelling mistakes edit

First of all I think it is clear that a local has edited this, few spelling mistakes, and the turn 10 hairpin isn't known normally as the l'Epingle hairpin. Lewishamiltonheikki (talk) 14:45, 4 June 2012 (UTC) "After expeirmenting with two Drag Reduction System (DRS) zones with a single activation point in 2011,[3] the FIA decided that the 2012 race would use a single, shorter DRS zone,[4] with the detection point placed after the l'Epingle hairpin, and the activation point located 600 metres (down from 650m in 2011) from the chicane leading onto the pit straight.[5] The FIA explained that the DRS zone was shortened because overtaking was "too easy" in 2011.[5]". This paragraph should be rewritten. Lewishamiltonheikki (talk) 14:52, 4 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

1) How should it be rewritten? It works just fine. Perhaps the only thing it could use is an explanation of where the 2011 DRS zones were.
2) The circuit map in the infobox makes it quite clear that the hairpin is known as l'Epingle. Prisonermonkeys (talk) 08:25, 6 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

First of all, I'm going to fix the spelling mistakes, those are all the changes I shall make. I think the Turn 10 Hairpin is more widely known as the 'Casino Hairpin.' I will have a look at previous articles and other websites to find the correct name of Turn 10, which is the hairpin. I call it the Casino Hairpin. BBC commentators stated last year its the Casino Hairpin, or just call it turn 10. Lewishamiltonheikki (talk) 14:23, 6 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

The map clearly says "l'Epingle". As there is no "Casino Hairpin" on the map, calling it "Casino Hairpin" is confusing. Prisonermonkeys (talk) 06:20, 9 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Race Report edit

After reading the race report, I discovered that this part of the article was porrly written, there is evidence of this throughout most parts of it. And when Pedro de la Rosa retired there was no evidence that his brakes were worn, when he came into the pits, the TV screens showed that his brakes had black smoke coming from them. This doesn't show that his brakes were actually worn, they were most likely just overheating. I have an example of this, Mark Webber spun out in the 2009 Singapore Grand Prix due to a rear brake faliure because they were overheating, but were not impeding his ability to brake without problems until he spun out. And in the race report it never mentioned Lewis Hamilton winning the race. In fact it never mentioned the last 15 laps. And those last 15 laps were the most crucial for the front runners, example: Alonso lead with 10 laps to go, on the last lap he was fifth. The report does not mention anyone winning, or the finishing positions like it does in other race reports. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.210.157.239 (talk) 17:10, 12 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

The second one works; the first one doesn't, so I replaced it. DH85868993 (talk) 09:56, 1 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
