Article sites a 1998 Grammy for the category of Spoken Word, but the 1998 Grammy (40th) does not list this at all on Wikipedia. See : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/40th_Grammy_Awards#Spoken

--Just saw Carl Reiner talk about this on the Dick Cavett/Mel Brooks conversation on HBO. He dates the bit back to 1950 when they first worked together on Show of Shows. George Burns edit

Didn't George Burns tell Brooks and Reiner they better record it because if they didn't he'd steal it (jokingly, but it was to underscore how funny how thought the bit was)? Brooks and Reiner have stated this in print interviews. --76.115.67.114 (talk) 11:10, 11 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
