  •   Chelsea involved in hooliganism, why am I not surprised? Date, expansion and hook all OK. A QPQ is needed @Harrias:, no close paraphrasing. Good to go once the QPQ is done. Please ping me when it is. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 08:30, 4 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Areas to expand before FAC edit

  • Introduce football hooliganism
    • Hopefully, I've largely covered this now. Harrias talk 10:08, 9 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • Note: add the introduction of security fencing into the background. Harrias talk 18:42, 9 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • Provide background to Chelsea's notoriety for trouble
  • For balance, the article probably needs some information about Middlesbrough's fans; there's some stuff in Lowles & Nicholls about them, and this match in specific, Hooligans 2.
  • Cover the speculation that the riots in this match might have extended, or least prevented from being shortened, the Heysel ban
    • I think this is sufficiently covered now; there's no need to go overboard. Harrias talk 10:57, 25 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • Also add the suggestion in "Lowles & Nicholls, Hooligans (M–Z)" that were it not for the security fencing, the Middlesbrough fans would have been just as involved. Harrias talk 18:42, 9 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • See if the match reports can be extended, particularly the second leg
  • @The Rambling Man: My BNA subscription has run out; would you be able to have a look about to see if you can find anything more on the second match? I don't recall there being much. Harrias talk 17:33, 20 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

The Rambling Man: I've moved this here, rather than have it all on your talk page! Harrias talk 10:07, 9 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

@The Rambling Man: I reckon this is just about ready. Could you have a look through, tidy up anything obvious and let me know what you think? Harrias talk 08:44, 29 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
Harrias will do, and I'll ping you when I'm done. The Rambling Man (Stay indoors, stay safe!!!!) 08:47, 29 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
