– The title including Czechoslovak First League for the seasons from 1939 to 1945 is incorrect as Czechoslovakia did not exist as a country during that time, with what is now the Czech Republic having been annexed by Nazi Germany as the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia while Slovakia became the puppet Slovak Republic. Instead of the Czechoslovak First League two individual leagues existed, one in each part. After discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football and a look at other sources (Czech Republic - List of Champions, Czechoslovakia / Czech Republic - List of League Tables User:Cloudz679 established from the book Český a československý fotbal - lexikon osobností a klubů that the leagues official name during the time period was Národní liga (English:National league). I would therefore like to request a move of the articles to the new names.) Calistemon (talk) 12:58, 27 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

  • Support most but the 44-45 one surely cannot be moved as there was no 1944–45 Národní liga, and the article deals solely with the Slovak league. C679 15:25, 27 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • Support most per Cloudz679. GiantSnowman 18:10, 27 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
Comment I'm not sure there is any point in the 1944–45 article at all but it wasn't created by me. The Czech Wikipedia does not have one, for example. In my opinion the Slovak league tables should be in their own season articles as they are full stop not related to the Národní liga. Calistemon (talk) 21:33, 27 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
I have PROD'ed 1944–45 Czechoslovak First League and moved the Slovak league tables to their own season articles, like 1939–40 Slovenská liga. Calistemon (talk) 07:01, 29 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
