SIAA voted on teams based on schedule, overall records, since conference schedules were not consistent due to travel, region, organization, or possible lack of finances per school.

The original standings posted on wikipedia before it was attached to a page, listed North Carolina as a member. The LSU yearbook cited (published 1900), and the SIAA Charlotte newspaper article (1901), and schedule, suggest the same. SportsEdits1 (talk) 01:09, 29 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
