Room for Expansion edit

This incident was national news and helped pave the way to the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban. Although it is already stated in the article for other users to add content, I put the expansion tag up to make it more "official", so to speak. --JOK3R 15:56, 27 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

I've been holding off to give the page creator an opportunity to develop it before jumping in myself, but if I've got the opportunity in the next little while, I do have a general idea of how to move forward with it that I'll start on.Tony Fox 16:53, 27 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
Rewrite underway. I'll try to get something done in the next couple days.Tony Fox 04:23, 28 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
And done. Still room for people to bring more in if they like, of course...Tony Fox 23:00, 29 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thank you very much. I appreciate it. --Cocopuffberman 02:28, 16 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

I have nothing against British spellings, but when referencing American incidents, the spelling should reflect American english.--76.189.86.214 03:29, 3 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

More on shooter's background and mental issues. References in media to his being "semi-illiterate" are misleading as apparently English was his second language. Seems like this and related cultural problems contributed to his alienation and lack of communication that undermined his business endeavors.

This might be a late inquiry, but are the specifics of the shooters Grievances listed anywhere for reference? There was a lot of commentary and jokes told about the shooting during that time period. While most open public sympathy was for the victims, at was by no means entirely universal. Not too many people were overly sympathetic to the shooter in this, however there were a lot of people who fairly openly stated that "shooting up a lawyers office is not as bad as shooting up a school yard". Hence public reaction to the 101 California street incident was not as pronounced as the earlier Stockton Schoolyard Massacre which had much more quickly prompted more gun control measures in California which prior to the gun bans had represented a full 1/3 of the market on "semiautomatic assault weapons". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.193.222.193 (talk) 17:33, 9 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

During several automated bot runs the following external link was found to be unavailable. Please check if the link is in fact down and fix or remove it in that case!

I'm having a bit of trouble adding a map to of San Francisco where the shooting took place. I can't add the map without removing the photo of the perpetrator for some reason. Anybody willing to help? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Graylandertagger (talkcontribs) 00:47, 30 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
